Africa milks the world for Aids money, free prescription medications (albiet with a Big Pharma write off for "Charity". There have been articles and news reports about how skewed the numbers are for the people in Africa with Aids. There is not sufficient monies for HIV testings, so many healthcare people just "assign" the diagnosis of Aids to people who have just one of the symptoms - hence the dramatic increase in aids in Africa - hence more money being thrown into that area.

Now the Pope is helping out both the spread of aids and the population of the Catholic Church as well. This probably won't sit well with many educated, younger Catholics who are leaving the church by double digit numbers each year.

Vicky Cristina Barcelona - A Woody Allen Movie Review

On a friend's recommendation about this movie I actually bought Vicky Cristina Barcelona from the previewed movie bin at Blockbuster Video. I like Woody Allen (I know, I know - it's like or dislike, not much grey between). I like that he takes chances and the story is usually about complex relationships - maybe a little like real life.

“Vicky Cristina Barcelona” (release Summer 08) is a rueful comedy about two young American women who, during a summertime two-month trip to Barcelona, set out to experience as many of the Continental offerings such youthful travelers often take pleasure in: art, music, culture, yes, but also strange bodies and unexpected dreams. These bodies and dreams open possibilities for the women, intimating freer, somehow different lives, despite the persistent tugging of a voice that hovers at the edge of this story trying to pull it and its characters down to earth, where desire can fade quickly. The photography and scenery of Spain is beautiful, and definitely adds to the beauty of the movie.

It is rated PG-13, but maybe should be reserved for PG-18 more so. The love scenes while tastefully done are artful nudity. This is a great couples movie - maybe a Saturday Night Date Night.

Use Care And Don't Be Tricked By A Rogue Spyware Program

DANGER: SWP 2009 demo virus is very dangerous – not detected by most spyware, malware removers. It can wipe out your entire computer! This is not a scam – but a true story!

Around mid-February, I got a Microsoft alert that there was a security risk on my computer, followed by two small pop up windows listing three “attack threats” Banker A Fox, Nugel and one other. Then I shut down and restarted my computer, and the same pop ups started again, along with a “free antispyware” fix, which started an autoscan on my computer – Huge Mistake – Do not click this if you see it.
This Free Fix is actually a rogue antivirus spyware (SWP 2009demo) that will totally lock up, take control, and populate your computer. I got a Rundll error, (Registry) and I was frozen out of the [run:/regedit] fix from the start menu. Then I started getting the Windows Security Alert/the Attack Alerts and then auto shut down, every time I tried to log on. You can’t find where it resides, cannot delete off start up, cannot trace back to documents, programs, files.
This is a multilayered virus. I purchased PC Tools Spyware Doctor and Registry Mechanic, and it would find and repair the virus as shown ( in SAFE MODE), but logging off (thinking wow my system is finally clean), then when I turned it back on, it came back, but a different sector was showing. (So I’d research that particular string/sector on my other computer – clean and sweep with Spyware, change some Windows settings, then the Windows OS system would lock me out over and over because of the “Alert”. And I could not complete the entire start up program without getting locked out. The last layer was a 1.5 second corrupt auto start video – that went by so fast I could only catch two words of the title, and after much searching I think it is gone now too..
This virus has to be cleaned layer by layer and I’m still not fixed, but closer. Run your computer in SAFE MODE so you can search and clean piece by piece and change settings to enable or disable certain areas that are likely uinfected. Keep running your Spyware and Registry cleaner every time. And remember you have to fix the new layer every time.
I’ve spent probably 30 hours cleaning this mess up – so I hope I can save someone else.

Mother Cited In Ohio For Breast Feeding While Driving - Whistle Blower Uses Cell To Tip Off Police

OMG - have you ever been in a car with four kids, one who is two years old, having a screaming hissy fit, and hasn't had food yet? Mom was probably over multitasking, and late for for the carpool line. You would clearly flop out your milk machine and shut the kid up. Come on other moms tell it like it really is in a car with four kids. I've opened those darned kids toys with one tooth while driving on an interstate just to shut em up! Held a bottle over to the baby in the child seat in the back while driving. And, picked up a dropped paci from the back floorboard while driving in rush hour traffic.

No one was hurt, obviously in spite of her stressful situation, she was able to successfully multitask, and for doobie do gooder who reported her - he should walk a day or two in her shoes before judging and squealing to the police.

KETTERING, Ohio—Police say an Ohio mother has been charged with child endangering after another driver reported she was breast-feeding and talking on the phone while driving.

The caller told police in suburban Dayton that he spotted the minivan-driving mother dropping off children at a school Thursday morning.

Officer Michael Burke says authorities used a license plate number to track down 39-year-old Genine Compton, who told them she was breast-feeding and wouldn’t let her child go hungry.

He says the child was younger than 2 years old.

Burke says the legal concern is that Compton had a child in her lap, not that she was breast-feeding in public.

He says she faces up to 180 days in jail and a $1,800 fine if convicted of the misdemeanor.
